AKB foundation team will recruit global cooperation partners

The International Consensus Association (ICA) announces the initial members of its AKB Foundation team, which has been established to advise and support the work of Asterism Kernel Blockchain (AKB).  Based in Canada, ICA is a nonprofit blockchain consulting and fundraising accelerator.  The association connects and encourages cooperation between blockchain projects, platforms, investors, educational institutions, governments, organizations, and influential individuals.  The AKB Foundation team will provide advice to AKB for investor relations, logistics, and marketing and for the promotion of the AKB cryptocurrency and enterprise chain reform.

In the past year, ICA has assisted in the successful financing and implementation of dozens of high-quality blockchain projects around the world.  Blockchain offers breakthrough technologies and solutions based on its decentralization, transparency, and immutability.  The AKB Foundation team’s advisory role is intended to allow AKB to make its best decisions regarding the promotion and performance of its AKB chain and AKB coin.

The AKB Foundation team members include:

Jason Hung, ICA Co-Founder & Chief Strategy Officer

Principal Co-Founder of the International Consensus Institute (ICA);  ICOBench international blockchain rating expert, ranked 1st in the world in 2018;  People of Blockchain 2019, top 10 global blockchain characters; Co-founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Keyman Technology; Former executive of Oracle Greater China, Ernst & Young, and four other global management consultants; ISoftStone China’s top three IT group executives.  Mr. Hung has his Bachelor of Engineer from Taiwan Jiaotong University.

Kathryn Zhao, Co-Founder & Chief Business Manager

Principal Co-Founder of the International Consensus Institute (ICA); NAAAP China business chairman; Vice President, TorontoTV television; General Manager of China Kaifu Convention and Exhibition Co., LTD; extensive event and travel management experience, formerly serving with Qatar Airlines and owning and operating the Canada Golden Horse International Travel Agency.

Edward Hwang, General Counsel

JD, MBA, MPA.  Over 25 years of experience in law, finance, strategy, and business development, working in corporate, non-profit, and government environments.  He began his career leading strategy and finance efforts at a startup that grew to be a Fortune 1000 company.  He later led operations and business development efforts at a national nonprofit based in New York City.  In the past decade, he has served as an attorney and advisor, working for the former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Georgia, in a top 100 U.S. law firm, at the Federal Reserve Bank, at the U.S. Department of the Treasury, and at the U.S. Office of Special Counsel.  He has also served as Chairman of the Board for the National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP), as General Counsel for several nonprofits, and as a board member to legal-tech companies. 

Michael Flanagan, Chief Marketing Officer

MBA, CPA, CTP.  Mr. Flanagan has over 25 years of finance, accounting, and communications experience, achieving the highest positions and certifications possible.  He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer of a major U.S. communications company with almost $100 million in annual revenue.  He has also served as a CFO of a billion-dollar telecommunications company, directly overseeing the $400 million Enterprise Mid-Market Business Unit.  He has also held a variety of other management roles, including the Director of Business Support & Logistics, Director of Capacity and Asset Management, and Director of Operations Finance.  He holds an Executive MBA and designations as a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Treasury Professional.

Edwin Lun, Chief Financial Officer

Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of OTC AJNO Group Holdings Limited (NASDAQ); Chief Financial Officer of fc-uli UnLovio; IFTC’s chief financial adviser for payments and b-share chain technology; Harvard Business School.

Muchen Dai, Chief Technology Officer

Senior enterprise software architect at Stericycle Inc (S&P 500), specializing in Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud technologies and design patterns. Led large scale projects, including B2B/C full-stack medical communication software design and development; internal and external system integration, consolidations and migration; micro-services (API); big data and machine learning (AI). Previously worked at AMD (S&P 500) as a software developer on chipset testing automation solutions. Computer Engineering – University of Toronto.

Umer Farouq, Top Blockchain Expert

Advising blockchain software company on asset management and trading platform issues.  Worked with offshore software house to design and build software solutions to create time-weighted return reporting solutions conforming to CFA Institute standards.  Included asset class composites and attribution analysis.  Designed and built statistical analysis program which used quarterly / monthly performance numbers to generate a range of statistical measures and comparisons with dynamic list of benchmarks. Built comprehensive program using Excel / VBA to generate investment proposals for clients; inputs were asset allocation and manager selection and answers to questionnaire. The program produced the proposal which included custom investment policy statement and various statistical metrics with custom index. Worked with outside vendor to develop holistic web-based CRM product.  Portal work included designing relational databases to bring together investment manager information with product offerings and key individual history.  Worked on design teal to build a web portal to collect information on investment managers.  Developed and implemented policies, tools, and mechanisms to enhance analytical and marketing support for institutional clients, managers, and product selections.  Worked with onshore and offshore software development teams.
