Schneider Electric Presents Innovative Energy Management and Automation Solutions in The Hotel Show

Jeddah: Schneider Electric, the global leader in energy management and automation, participated in the Kingdom’s leading hospitality and food trade fair ‘The Hotel Show,’ which was held throughout 21-23 April at the Jeddah Center for Forums and Events. The company aimed to present its innovative solutions in the field of energy management and automation, which targeted customers in the local hospitality industry.

The Schneider Electric wing at the trade fair showcased advanced technologies aiming to engage with the public and introduce them to the various hotel solutions provided by Schneider Electric Ecostruxure, the interactive wall presenting Schneider Electric’s Midscale and Upscale solutions targeting economic three- and four-star hotels, as well as solutions for luxury five-star hotels.

Country President of Schneider Electric in Saudi Arabia and Yemen Eng. Najib Al Naim expressed his happiness to participate in this important event, noting that the Kingdom’s hospitality sector is booming and expected to continue growing during the coming period. This is particularly due to expectations that point to the completion of nearly 6,400 rooms by the year 2022, supported by intensive government efforts to strengthen the Kingdom’s position in the global tourism landscape, especially in regards to Hajj and Umrah.

Al Naim noted that Schneider Electric’s participation in this year’s trade fair comes within the company’s efforts to harness its potential and energies to effectively contribute to achieving the objectives of the National Transformation Program and the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030.

The Hotel Show witnessed a variety of events and accredited seminars for continuing professional development, in addition to numerous networking opportunities with colleagues and professionals. It also offered a comprehensive view of the Saudi hospitality landscape with the participation of 100 international brands from all around the world who presented different products related to interior equipment; lighting; design; safe technologies and solutions; kitchen and laundry equipment; restaurant, café and restaurant facilities; and food and beverage, among others.

The event hosted a wide number of hospitality professionals, including general managers, owners, operators, procurement managers, designers, architects, supervisors, executive chefs, revenue managers, and engineers.
