Jupiter, FLA – From recreational levels to super competitive, youth soccer continues to grow in Florida and gives kids an opportunity to develop skills, learn teamwork and sportsmanship, get exercise, and have fun!
While it’s very exciting to see more kids having fun outdoors, and enjoying sports, there’s a challenge that prevents many kids from taking their game to the next level.
Recreational soccer leagues provide a great, positive environment for kids to have fun and compete, even if they don’t have a lot of experience or skills. But these leagues are traditionally coached by volunteer parents, who give their hearts to help the kids have a great season, but usually don’t have any real experience either playing or coaching the great game of soccer.
So, for players who want to really develop their skills and play in a more competitive league, travel clubs offer a great opportunity to do that.
BUT, for many families, there’s one big roadblock. With higher paid coaches, expensive uniform fees, tournament fees, and travel expenses, travel soccer can cost families thousands of dollars per year just for one kid to play on the team… an expense many families just can’t afford.
Not only does this prevent a lot of very talented kids from being able to grow and excel in the sport they love, but it can add a lot of stress to a lot of families.
Now, thanks to Jupiter’s newest non-profit, youth soccer club, Rise FC, and their FIRST AND ONLY No Kid Left Behind scholarship program, deserving kids, who come from households that just can’t afford or justify the growing cost of travel soccer, can get financial assistance to play with Rise FC’s exciting new soccer club!
