Weifang National Comprehensive Pilot Zone for Opening-up Development of Agriculture covers the whole area of Weifang, including the core area and radiation area. The planning area of the core area is 120.9 square kilometers, of which 111.32 square kilometers are for Food Valley of China, 2.12 square kilometers are for the northern area of Weifang Comprehensive Bonded Zone and 7.46 square kilometers are for supporting areas, and the areas outside the core area are radiation areas. Weifang National Comprehensive Pilot Zone for Opening-up Development of Agriculture is a major provincial project for the transformation of old driving forces into new ones and a leading project to guide the whole city’s open development and cultivate new driving forces for agricultural development.
