NASHVILLE, TN – Ooko Studios, the Nashville, TN based independent arts collective, is pleased to present its inaugural Ladypallooza event, sponsored and curated by Mozy Media Co.

Ladypallooza is a celebration of female creativity and empowerment, featuring music from an all-female lineup featuring Soren Bryce aka TUMMYACHE, Peachy, Daisha McBride, Anna Mae, Bex, and Emily Clement.

The event will also feature multiple visual series on display, including Should you be eating that? by New Zealand born artist Ieneke Van Zanten – Raise your hand if you have ever felt personally victimized for your food choices. This series is a commentary on diet culture and the damage that is caused by people who police others food choices. Additional visual installments featured on display include works from Lauren Lundy, Hilary Bell (film), Shelby Timmons, Samantha Zaruba, Shahnaz Lighari, Cheetie Mageetie, and Ashton Guy.

In addition to audio and visual participants, Ladypalloozas on-site vendors include Braidbar by The Dry House, Nailbar by The Lacquer Lounge, and coffee served by Crest Cafe.

All proceeds from the pay what you want event will benefit Polaris Project, a non-profit, non-governmental organization that works to combat and prevent modern-day slavery and human trafficking.
