The Los Angeles Rams are headed to the Super Bowl this season to take on the New England Patriots, which will take place at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

This is Talib’s 12th season in the NFL (first with the Rams). An ankle injury sidelined him for several games during the season, but he has made a major impact on the Rams defense since returning towards the end of the year. He has helped propel them through the playoffs and into Super Bowl LIII. Talib is no stranger to the Super Bowl or playing in big games, he was a part of the Broncos team that won the Super Bowl in 2016. He played for the Pats from 2012-2013, so he is also going up against some familiar faces on Sunday.
During Super Bowl LIII Opening Night on Monday, Talib and Tom Brady reminisced on their time as teammates. Talib said of Brady, “He’d complete every ball thrown on my side (during practice), he’s the G.O.A.T. He’s the best.” Brady countered by telling a story about the time Bill Belichick tested Aqib in an offensive package in practice. When asked how Talib’s hands were in that practice, Brady said, “He could have been as good of a receiver as he is a corner.” Talib thanked Brady for the compliment.
Talib has certainly gained respect from his peers and a lot of fans over the years with his play on the field. Now he is gaining even more fans off the field by sending some lucky ones to Atlanta on his dime.
