Amphitheater School District, it’s systems and all of their schools are granted the AdvancED School System Accreditation from the AdvancED Accreditation Commission. Amphitheater schools are accredited, quality schools and are proud to be recognized by such a prestigious program.
In order for the District to become accredited, the process involves meeting high quality standards; implementing a continuous process of improvement; and engaging in quality assurance through internal and external review. Though not easy or a quick process, Amphitheater Schools pushed through to obtain these necessary requirements to validate and give the proper recognition to all the good being done at Amphitheaters schools.
Alena Clark, the AdvancED Associate Director of Accreditation said, “We want to recognize the District leadership for electing Amphitheater to have all its schools accredited.” While attending an Amphi Governing Board meeting Clark also commented, “It has been an honor to return here, and I sing the praises of Amphitheater- a system that walks its talk for all.”
Having all of their schools from kindergarten through twelfth grade accredited means the community can trust the schools they are sending their students to to provide them with the best quality education and experience. Superintendent Patrick Nelson commented that, “School System Accreditation provides Amphitheater Schools with a nationally-recognized mark of quality for our system and all the schools within our system.” He went on further to say, “It demonstrates to our community our commitment to excellence, our openness to external review and feedback and our desire to be the best we can be on behalf of the students we serve.”
