Boss Ruff, the multi-talented recording artist, producer, actor and songwriter, is back with a new track, Motorola, which fans can now stream on Spotify, as well as purchase on all major music platforms. The single, which was released on New Year’s Day 2019, has gained recognition from hip hop heavyweights such as Glasses Malone, Jarren Benton and DJ Louie V, while it has also been featured in The Forum Magazine.

In Motorola, Boss Ruff once again reminds his audience what he is made of – true grit, fine rhyme, and infectious beats. Speaking of Motorola, the artist said that “This is my comeback track, and I want to treat my fans, who have so patiently stood by my side through my almost four year absence, to some fresh material. Motorola is just the beginning – so stay tuned for more music to come!”

Having started his career as a member of the G.G. Boyz crew, Boss Ruff went on to release two hot singles, Swaggtastic and Hit Me On Facebook, from his E.P. Smokin Hit Sizzlin’, which was a massive success in Michigan. He then went on to sign a deal with international record label Expat Records and work with D-Block super-producer Don Mega on an E.P. that was never to be released, owing to the fact that, at the time, Boss Ruff was called to serve an 18-month jail sentence. Upon his sentence’s completion, the artist launched Gasoline, his leading single of the three he released at that time; Watch Yo B, which featured A. Goff of Soulja Boy’s SODMG record label, and was produced by Mall DIDIT, and Dj Wats, made in collaboration with DJ Wats, Soulja Boy’s East Coast tour DJ.

Boss Ruff also went on to appear on a slew of popular videos on Hood Box Office, working with viral star Young Dopeman, and collaborate with T.P. East Coast artist under the Max B umbrella, as well as with French Montana Coke Wave. Sadly, in 2015, and just as he had started generating buzz outside his local area, Boss Ruff was incarcerated, and went on to serve three-and-a-half years in a Michigan State prison.

Following his release in June of 2018, Boss Ruff took up right where he left off, wasting no time to once again showcase his talent to his fans who had long waited for fresh material. Boss Ruff has re-released Gasoline and has been doing regional shows, opening for artists such as Tekashi 69, G-Herbo, and Young Dolph.

At the time of writing, Boss Ruff is on tour in support of his latest single, while he is also currently working on new music which is set to be released at a later date.

All further information with regards to Boss Ruff’s latest news and musical releases will be shared in future communications with the press.
