IV4Wellness, Bozeman’s first IV Hydration Center, Opens Doors

January 18 08:09 2019

BOZEMAN, MT – January 18, 2019 – The city of Bozeman now has their first IV hydration center, which is ready to help Montanans stay optimally hydrated, at all times. IV4Wellness is conveniently located in the Cannery District at 117 East Oak Street, Suite 1A, in Bozeman, and is easily accessible by Oak Street, and N Rouse.

“IV hydration is readily available and popular in larger cities,” said IV4Wellness’ co-owner, Amy Babcock. “Until now, it hasn’t been a convenient option here.  We are very excited to introduce our services to Bozeman.”

IV4Wellness offers IV treatments which provide individuals with increased energy and elevated mood, faster recovery during athletic training and after athletic events, relief from hangovers, quicker recovery from illness, smoother, plumper, more radiant skin, and overall improved wellness.

More specifically, the IVs used during treatments combine hydration with vitamins and minerals delivered intravenously and help replenish at a cellular level.

“Bozeman’s dry climate and altitude paired with the active life-style most Montanans lead makes this an ideal service for our area.” said co-owner Devin Jones.

The treatment process itself is pretty straight forward and lasts from thirty minutes to one hour.  IV Specialists help with selecting the right treatment for each client, as well as performing a complete medical assessment.

“The first thing we do with any of our clients is a medical assessment.  We ask questions about medical history, any allergies, and we check their vital signs.  There are very few reasons a person should not receive one of our treatments, but there are a few out there.  We follow our medical director’s guidelines to the letter to make sure we can identify those reasons right away,” said Babcock.

After checking the patient’s vitals and affirming that he or she is suitable for a treatment, an IV Specialist administers the IV bag infusion corresponding with the patient’s treatment of choice.  A soft flexible catheter is inserted into a convenient vein – usually the inside of the elbow or hand. Both Babcock and Jones describe the whole process as “quick and painless, with an improved sense of wellbeing immediately post-treatment.”
