Reverend Lucie Poirier incorporated Dancing for the Endtime Harvest as a not for profit organization in 2005 through which she traveled the nations to dance, teach, write, and minister as a dancer and speaker. “The idea of owning a dance studio was not on my radar, although several people over the years told me they saw me owning a dance studio”, says Minister Lucie. She continued to travel, in 2013, on a mission trip to Kenya, Africa and returned to serve them again in 2015. The week before her departure of the 2015 trip to Kenya, she explains, “I sensed God telling me to locate a building for a dance studio. Amazingly enough, upon my arrival to Africa I was asked to open a Dance Center by several of the pastors there. They searched for land in Kenya to build the center to instruct the principles of the dance and conduct workshops. When I arrived back to the United States, I continued my dance studio search per God’s instruction. He sent me this building.” Harvest Dance School, founded in June 2016, is located in Jacksonville, Florida as a branch of Dancing for the Endtime Harvest to train dancers in the principles of dancing in the Kingdom of God.

What is Harvest Dance School?

Harvest dance school is a TRAINING CENTER; a place of training for God’s dancers. In Isaiah 41:15 God says I will make of you a sharp threshing instrument having teeth. As a dancer in the kingdom of God we must be sharp. Part of that comes as we educate and equip ourselves which will Empower us to dance purposely.

HDS is a DANCE SCHOOL. It’s a place of gathering to glean knowledge for empowerment. Knowledge is power. Lack of knowledge weakens your dance, brings you to shame and eventually you are destroyed. God says in Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

God wants us to glean knowledge. In 2 Timothy 2:15 Apostle Paul instructs us Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

The Harvest Dance School is also here to UNITE God’s dancers in the city of Jacksonville. No matter what denomination or Christian Church they are from it is the Father’s Heart that we Unite so that we can have power released through our dance. There’s power in unity. According to Leviticus 26:8 and Deuteronomy 32:30 there is power in number for the battle.
