NYC’s pop art sensation riding high after a sold-out fall exhibition

New York, NY – December 24, 2018 – So, what do you get the celebrity who has everything? A piece of pop art by New York artist Marko Stout, of course.

The acclaimed pop art icon (who has been referred to as the 21st century’s Andy Warhol) is spending his holiday season basking in the afterglow of a sold-out solo exhibition at New York’s legendary Caelum Gallery. Meanwhile, pieces from his collection have caught the eyes of a diverse cross-section of celebrity art-lovers, with rave reviews coming in from the likes of Lance Bass of NSYNC, Caitlin Jenner, Mötley Crüe lead singer Vince Neil, Pussycat Dolls lead singer Kaya Jones, and a flurry of contestants on Ru Paul’s Drag Race. His work has been referred to as everything from “badass” to “mind-blowing” to “amaz-balls.”

That level of celebrity endorsement, along with Marko’s unique vision of the New York pop landscape, propelled his brand to be listed as one of 14 “Hottest Brands to Watch Out For” by Entrepreneur magazine, In fact, demand for Marko’s work has grown so much that the artist has begun offering qualified interior designers direct access to his gallery works, allowing designers to style the interiors of their clients’ homes like the inner sanctums of today’s celebrity elite. Much like his artistic predecessor Warhol, his art prints have been put on everything from t-shirts to hats to yoga pants.

As for Stout, the artist takes it all predictably in stride. “I don’t want my art to be the image,” says Stout. “I want it to be the meaning.”
