The highly anticipated “2018 International Vocal Singing Competition Finals” was held in California recently. Four first place winners were: Sun Jersey, Mi Fan, Anna Chen, Wang Tiantian, Chen Qingwen. Runner-ups were: Wang Sufei, Sheng Weifang, Li Minwei, Xu Lingqi. Third place winners were: Lawrence Leeway, Zhang Wei, Pauline, Hu Wei, Guo Jiaqi. The winners are invited to return to Beijing, China in mid-January to record songs. The program is to be broadcasted on CCTV network. The show will help realize the winner’s dreams in becoming real stars in China!

During the afternoon session of the singing competition, many major media and news networks attended the event, including NetEase News. Four famous music mentors Liu Yuxi, Wu Baicheng, Chen Hexia, and Li Zongxian were present during the opening of the competition. Liu Yuxi, recipient of the “Top 10” Golden Melody Awards. Wu Baicheng, a vocalist at the California Conservatory of Music, and a music school of Los Angeles. Music professor and artist Chen Hexia. And last but not least, China Good Voice North China Division mentor Li Zongxian.

Competition judges were Mo XIu Ning, Zhou Wei, Mr. Wang, and Liu Yilun. Mo Xiu Ning is a well-known lawyer. The other two judges were and webcast judges.Zhou Wei is a singer who on CCTV previously. Mr. Wang was a first place winner on CCTV “Avenue of Stars” competition. Liu Yilun was the popularity winner of Hunan Satellite TV competition “Happy Boys.”

Each contestant was guided by the judges and mentors. During the last part of the competition, when the judges were calculating the scores, Wu Baicheng, singer from the California Conservatory of Music performed the song “My Sun.” Special guest dancer Kianna Sisneroz performed ballet. Judge Liu Yuxi performed his original song “The wind is coming.” And song writer Chen Hexia and Wu Baicheng performed the original song “China Is My Home” together.

The award ceremony was truly thrilling. The Most Popular singer award went to Xie Yuwen. The Most Friendly Singer award went to Feng Guorui. The Future Star Singer award Mei Zhuo. The Best Performer award winner was Li Fangli. The Most Potential Singer award went to Tang Yiji and Tang Yixiang. The Sweetest Singer award winner was Zhu Liyi. The Most Unique Singer award winner was Zhong Rong. The Most Popular Social Media Singer award winner was Yang Danna.

Third place winners were Lawrence Leeway, Zhang Wei, Pauline, Hu Wei, Guo Jiaqi. Second place winners were: Wang Sufei, Sheng Weifang, Li Minwei, Xu Lingqi. The four category first place winners were: Youth Category Singers first place winner Sun ZeXi; Folk Category Singers first place winner Anna Chen; Bel Canto Category Singers first place winner Wang Tiantian; and Popular Category Singers first place winner Chen Qingwen.

The awards were presented by special guests including local business and political leaders, a certificate of appreciation was presented to the judges.
