December 17, 2018 – BANGKOK – It was an evening of glitz and glamor at the Century Park Hotel celebrating the launching of We Care for Humanity (WCH) Thailand attended by royals, dignitaries, and business people of Bangkok. The dinner gala themed “Gatsby” highlighted the host, Princess Dr. Maria Amor from the Royal House of Baloi, Philippines who is the founder and president of WCH. Amor also serves as the Chairman of the Global Order of Dignitaries and Philanthropists (G.O.D.) Awards, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the OSJ Knights of Malta and Co-founder of World Healthy Ageing Council in Turkey.

We Care for Humanity is an International NGO based in United States with chapters in many countries. Its main mission is to promote Universal Humanitarianism and convert every human being into humanitarian. The Princess keynoted, “Everyday, the number of people all over the world suffering from poverty, hunger, illness and violence are increasing. I am more convinced that we should not only increase our efforts to do humanitarian works but also to multiply the NGOs and number of humanitarians in every country to deliver help and hope to humanity. WCH Thailand’s main goal is to extend the mission and vision of We Care for Humanity to the underprivileged Thai people.“She also added, “I cannot think of any better person to lead WCH in Thailand than Dr. Aphinita Chaichana who is a natural giver, a great humanitarian. Her background in Buddhism and hosting big events has prepared her for bigger tasks to impact the world.  I believe in her ability and passion to make WCH one of the leading NGOs in Thailand.“

The glamorous event was graced by Royal Chief Guests, His Royal Highness Sisowath Agarameshwar Nagamethagur, a royal of Cambodia together with his sister, Lady Seyhak Monorea and brother Sir Agareshwar Brahmakasikara Nagamethagur, and a member of the Thai Royal Family, His Excellency Sir ML Whanchai Nawarat. “I’m very happy to be supporting this event especially it is for the good of humanity. Both HRH Princess Maria and Dr. Aphinita are my good friends; I know their intention is always to benefit the poor people that’s why I am there whenever they need me”, said HRH Sisowath who was honored by G.O.D. Awards as Royal Humanitarian of Asia last July in Kolkata, India.

Dr. Chainana and her team made a regal statement by organizing a very elegant event. “From our hearts, we want to honor HRH Princess Maria Amor being the founder of WCH and for doing so many noble works around the world. We feel that by honoring her, we honor ourselves because we are now part of WCH. Princess Maria inspires me to do more for my community. I am committed to serve the needy as I am with my religion.”

Princess Maria awarded Certificates of Appreciation to notable sponsors, performers and friends who supported the event: Mr. Kumar Karki, President of Thai Napali Association, Mr. Naruethep Sithichankuna, former secretary of president of the Privy Council and man more.
