The team at READ’N’EAT has just unveiled their brand new, kitchen-proof cookbook to the world with a Kickstarter campaign that aims to raise capital towards the manufacturing and shipping of the book.
READ’N’EAT is a 100% made-in-Italy cookbook featuring more than 60 authentic Italian recipes written with easy to follow, step-by-step directions. The cookbook divides the recipes by prep time; recipes designated with a blue earmark can be created in less than 30 minutes, recipes in yellow can be prepared in less than an hour, and recipes in red take more than one hour to complete.
READ’N’EAT is made with stone paper, which is completely tree-free material made with 80% mineral powder and 20% HDPE rather than wood pulp. One tone of stone paper replaces an equivalent amount of wood pulp paper to equate to enough oxygen for 40 people per year. Creating stone paper is also more eco-friendly than creating pulp wood paper. There’s no water usage or waste, CO2 emissions are reduced, energy is saved, and no harmful chemicals are used during production.
The READ’N’EAT cookbook is water and grease proof, and the pages are also torn resistant. The book itself is made with edible materials, including edible ink, to ensure safety in the kitchen.
The makers of READ’N’EAT aim to raise just over $28,000 for their project in exchange for exclusive perks such as early bird copies of READ’N’EAT. According to the cookbook’s team, the first copies of READ’N’EAT will be available in April 2019.
