Izzy was raised in the church in Austin, Texas, where music was compulsory. He started out playing the piano at 4, subsequently finding his voice and song at the age of 7. He also played keyboards at Greater Calvary Bible Church, Arch Bishop Dr.Sterling Lands II and became a teenage choir director and the lead musician at GCBC at the tender age of 11. Over the years, Izzy has developed his skills, touring with various gospel groups throughout the country and attending a cultural tour in Accra, Ghana West Africa to serve in praise and worship in the church community under the leadership of Arch Bishop Dr.Lands II.
Inspired by the likes of Sean Combs, Sean Carter, and Timothy Mosley, Izzy adopted an unorthodox approach in his structure of writing, imagination, and his music production. His uniqueness has helped his growth in the industry. He produced his first solo project at the age of 13 and placed the first chair for bass in the Austin Philharmonic Orchestra.
“Been Good” is a further testament to his ingenuity and desire to use his talent to spread the gospel and encourage his listeners to do good. “I believe we are on to something; a way to spread God’s love in a way everyone can hear!” says Izzy Produx.
