“A wise horror villain once said, ‘We have such sights to show you.’ Truer words cannot be said about the offering that is ‘Dead Squad: Temple of the Undead’…” (Killer Horror Critic).

Los Angeles, CA – November 22, 2018 – Prepared to take over the world down-under, ‘DEAD SQUAD’ heads to the Sanctuary Cove and International Film Festival on the Gold Coast of Australia to premiere on Sunday, Dec. 2nd.

For Sanctuary Cove’s fourth annual film festival, “guests can rub shoulders with industry VIP’s as the red carpet is rolled out for a number of after-dark soirees when some of the industry’s biggest stars come out to play including the cast and crew of DEAD SQUAD: TEMPLE OF THE UNDEAD,” including stars, Conan Stevens, Carma Sharon, Bianca Zouppas, Reka Gavaldi, Guy Talon and Director, Dominik Hauser.

As Hauser’s directoral debut, DEAD SQUAD is a resurgence of ’80s splatter films that follows a group of seven friends who get lost during a river-rafting trip through the tropical jungle. “DEAD SQUAD boasts great sets, tons of gore, lots of action, cool fight stunts, and a pace that will have your thumbs twitching as they reflexively seek controller buttons to punch,” wrote All Horror. The adventure begins when they stumble upon a long-lost ruin of an ancient temple; the friends discover the ruin is not abandoned, but home to the undead and mysterious monsters. All Horror continued, “The action and kills level [are] turned up to eleven. You get whole skeletons yanked out of bodies through the stomach, heads ripped off and bunted about, one memorable death involving a gun fired from point-blank at the crotch all the way out the skull, limbs whipped off and munched, and chunky salsa gore all over.”

Dominik Hauser’s action-survival horror is lead by the Greek Australian Actress, Bianca Zouppas. Alongside, DEAD SQUAD features Erika Ervin as the ‘Zombie Queen’, notable for her role as Amazon Eve in American Horror Story: Freak Show. Standing at six-foot-eight, Ervin has been recognized as the world’s tallest model, headlining in over 30 countries and appearing in hundreds of publications. Alongside is the mysterious ‘Z-13’ (Conan Stevens), her seven-foot-tall Australian zombie king, best known for roles in The Hobbit and in HBO’s Game of Thrones (‘The Mountain’). As “a riotous, gory good time”, DEAD SQUAD will leave viewers “die laughing from an array of exceptionally bloody kills which are dripping in shock value, some of which feel fresh and completely original,” continued Killer Horror Critic.

Filmed at Bali’s only film studio, Movie Studio Bali, located in the middle of its beautiful rainforest, DEAD SQUAD boasts “a very colorful and good-looking cinematography, [with] loads of sequences filled to the brim with gratuitous nudity and some cool set design,” observed Horror World.

DEAD SQUAD will hold its Australia premiere at the Sanctuary Film Festival on Dec. 2nd, with a red carpet beginning at 5:30 pm following the film’s 6:30 pm screening. In attendance will be DEAD SQUAD’s zombies and survivors, including but not limited to Conan Stevens, Carma Sharon, Bianca Zouppas, Reka Gavaldi, Guy Talon and Director, Dominik Hauser.
