Mike Vernal, a former senior executive of Facebook, has invested greatly in building a powerful technical team to build a decentralized social media called KFC Chain, based on block chains according to reports. The KFC Chain grants its users control over social relationships, articles, pictures and videos, which accordingly can return the profits from Facebook selling user data to users via platform encryption currency KFC.
The fact that Facebook has prominent data leakage issues with data centralization is remarkable. At present, Zuckerberg has set up a block chain group, among which 12 members are found on LinkedIn. David Marcus, a former vice president of Paypal, joined that group. The KFC Chain launched by Mike Vernal is a decentralised facebook, by introducing tokens which can make Facebook applications and markets more complicated, but also more trustworthy. Block chains improve users’ control over their data by increased transparency,and there are more than 2 billion active users accessing Facebook, altogether of which will be enough to allow most developers or brands to join the platform created by KFC Chain.
