Mr. Ashraf Elgamal, Founder and Executive Producer of the Miss Arab Pageant, said the Miss Arab Universe pageant will take pageantry to a new level by creating a pageant with a purpose. According to Mr. Elgamal, any Arab woman will be able to participate directly without obtaining a winning title in their country of residence. As the Universe pageant has yet to be organized in every country, removing this requirement will open participation to all Arab woman. To participate, contestants must be between the ages of 18 and 28 years and of Arab origin. Participation is open to any country.
Miss Arab Universe respects the traditions of Arabs and the Arab culture. Therefore, traditional contests, like a swimsuit contest, will be removed. Instead, such a content will be replaced with participants wearing the national costume of their home country.
