Thompson explains that Name Skillz works by using a simple three-step process to learn how to remember people’s names. First, a few short lessons teach the techniques of name mastery. The user can then practice those techniques using more than 200 flashcards of the most common names in the U.S. In the third and final step, groups of 5 to 50 virtual people are shown as practice for the real world.
“The enthusiasm I receive for Name Skillz when I share about this app I’ve created is heartwarming,” concludes Thompson. “It’s my mission to help millions of people who struggle with names like I used to.”
The app is available for pre-order for $4.99 in Google Play and the Apple App Store, and is due to be released on November 1, 2018.
