Fort Collins, CO – On October 4 2018, Swiss Aqua Technologies of Berneck, SUI and Colorado product developer EvMade LLC launched a Kickstarter campaign for WashBOB, a revolutionary new portable laundry water softener that is going to make the process of washing clothes infinitely more affordable, simple, and eco-friendly.
“WashBOB is comprised of a proprietary mixture of Brass and Titanium configured to maximize turbulence and water contact and enclosed in a machine safe rubber sphere creating a non-chemical process called Ion Polarization,” the creators explained, “This process breaks down lime and calcium into a soluble form creating soft water, which allows the laundry soap or detergent to dissolve more efficiently maximizing its ability to clean better.”
Making compromises can seem inevitable when it comes to doing laundry in an environmentally responsible way. Regular detergents work well but are full of chemicals that irritate our skin. On the other hand, plant-based laundry detergents leave clothes feeling rough and less than clean. Ben Jewell of EvMade LLC was tired of trying solutions that were either expensive, bad for the washing machine, or harmful for the environment when he was introduced to Swiss Aqua Technologies and their Ionic Polarization System in 2017.
Together, Swiss Aqua Technologies and EvMade LLC have created the solution to all our laundry woes and now they have turned to the Kickstarter community to help make this product accessible to those who need it. WashBOB reduces detergent use by up to 70%, makes the use of eco-friendly soaps more practical, allows all wash cycles to be with cold water, extends the life and efficiency of washing machines by inhibiting hard water scale on the internal components, requires no power, no maintenance, and last 10 years with normal use.
